Gym Mates and First Catch

Gym Mates
Here is Sam and his cousin, Josh, receiving their certificates and ribbons for completing a semester of gymnastics together. They spent most of the semester doing what little cousins do best - goofing off!

I was recently decorating for my son's birthday party and thought that the rainbow crepe paper party streamers would look cute as a "lacy" type border. I cut a piece of paper in the shape of a circle, made little ruffles out of thestreamers, and taped them to the back of my paper - fast and festive.

Supplies Used:
Patterned Papers (Sassafras Lass, October Afternoon, Jillibean Soup, Basic Grey), Bazzill cardstock, American Crafts foam letters, Cosmo Cricket chipboard letters

First Catch

Here's Sam fishing with his Papa. Sam caught his first fish with his new Buzz Lightyear fishing Rod. The jury is still out on who was the most excited about the first catch of the night - Sam or Papa!
I have been itching to use some of the Basic Grey Max and Whiskers chipboard pieces. Aren't they cute?!?

Party!

Where has the summer gone? It's hard to believe that August is halfway over! I haven't had much time to scrap lately, but I did manage to create this layout last night - my first layout this month!

These are pictures of my son at his 4th birthday party. I used scraps of Basic Grey, Sassafras Lass, and October Afternoon. The cute little banner stickers and butterfly are Jenni Bowlin. I generally like to scrap using 1-3 pictures, and so 11 pictures is a big deal for me!

Thanks for looking!
