Happy summer! I am looking forward to scrapping summertime photos. My husband left for travel this week, which meant that I scrapped the nights away. Here are some things that I accomplished.
My Daily Confession
I don't normally scrap *just* me, but I felt that it was "appropriate" since I was using one of my favorite Scriptures. :) With everything going on in this world that we live, Psalm 112:7 has been one of my trusty go-to confessions.
I just love all of the bright primary colors and cheerful prints of these papers. These roses are some of my favorite flowers to make using a 6 petal flower punch. Here is the tutorial in case you haven't seen it:

I hand cut the other flowers from an older sheet of Imaginisce paper.
Supplies Used: Patterned Papers (Imaginisce, Sassafras Lass, Queen & Company, Basic Grey), American Crafts chipboard letters.
Little Pals
I used sketch #109 from Creative Scrappers for this layout. Most of the patterned papers are from the new Max and Whiskers Basic Grey line.
I had a 5X7 and a 4X6 copy of this photo. I used the 5X7 as a mat for the smaller print.
Supplies used: Patterned papers (Basic Grey, My Mind's Eye, October Afternoon, Sassafras Lass), Prima flowers, American Crafts chipboard letters, Making Memories tiny alpha stickers.
Me and My Buddy Boo
This is Jack and me on Mother's Day. Sam is not pictured because he was being a pouty-poo and elected to not participate. Argh!
I used some of my old scraps for this simple layout. Why do the "simple" layouts take me just as long as the more detailed ones?!?
Fireman Sam and His Firehouse Dog
My boys on Halloween - Another sketch from Creative Scrappers. As you can see, I got slightly carried away with all of the circles. Let's just blame it on the Texas heat!
Supplies Used: patterned papers (Queen and Co, Jillibean Soup, Recollections), American Crafts foam letters, Paper Studio chipboard letters
Wonder Women
I found this sassy animal print trim at Hobby Lobby. Isn't it cute?
Supplies Used: Patterned Papers (Basic Grey, My Mind's Eye), Prima flowers, K & Co chipboard
"Sonny" With a Chance of Shine
Jack is such a lighthouse in our home. He radiates joy all around him (as long as things are going his way!).
I have officially reached my "quota" for scrapping bluebonnet pictures. I am a sucker for anything associated with a flower...time to move on to an overflow of beach pictures! I am loving all of the whimsical suns that I have been seeing on layouts. A super cute touch for summertime layouts.
Supplies Used: Patterned papers (Basci Grey, My Mind's Eye, Queen & Co, Sassafras Lass), Bazzill cardstock, Prima flowers, American Crafts chipboard letters
Thanks for visiting!
