12 Weeks

I have so enjoyed looking back on past pregnancy layouts - such special memories. I want to be sure to take lots of photos and journal about my current pregnancy. These are photos of me taken at 12 weeks pregnant. To complete this layout, I used an older stack of K&Co Amy Butler papers that I have always been fond of.

Supplies Used: K&Co papers, K&Co chipboard butterflies, American Crafts numbers, Paper Studio chipboard letters, Robin's Nest dew drops

Snow! San Antonio Style

Last February, we got some snow - a very rare occurrence in San Antonio. Even though it was just a light dusting, my boys were overjoyed.  We sat in Rubbermaid containers and slid down the driveway. Both boys fully expect it to snow every winter. Hope they aren't too disappointed!

I created this layout for a Pagemaps challenge - "CHAW12 Sketch Contest."  Sketch by Becky Fleck. There's still time to play!

Supplies Used: Papers (Basic Grey, Bella Blvd), American Crafts chipboard, Robin's Nest dew drops

Little Fish

I had to "pay" these little rascals $.25 just to get in the pool with me at the beginning of the summer. By the end of the summer, they couldn't get enough of the water!

Supplies Used: Papers (Sassafras Lass, Echo Park, Paper Studio, BoBunny), Jillibean Soup journaling sprouts, American Crafts puffy stickers, Paper Studio chipbboard letters, Robin's Nest dew drops, Spare Parts metal, miscellaneous floss and buttons).

Thing 3

This will be the first layout in my pregnancy/ baby's birth album - obviously lacking in traditional baby colors, but I am not a baby blue/ powder pink kind of girl after all!
I was inspired by a Stacy Cohen layout (one of my absolute favorite designers), and I lifted her design for this layout. I just adore this "Happy Days" line of papers from Echo Park!

Supplies Used: Papers (Echo Park, Sassafrass Lass), American Crafts vinyl letters, Cosmo Cricket tiny alpha stickers, miscellaneous floss and buttons)

Howdy

I love this cowboy themed photo that my husband took of my boys. We went to my dad's 60th birthday party, and both boys insisted on going in their "best" western garb-making them take it off was so not worth the drama that would soon erupt. I just made them promise that they would not aim their guns at anybody...They did not fulfill their end of the bargain.

Products Used: Papers (October Afternoon, Basic Grey, Sassafrass Lass), Sassafrass Lass sticker, Cosmo Cricket tiny alpha, Time Holtz tickets

Spring

A scrappy resolution I have is to *try* to create more multi-photo layouts. I prefer the look of one-photo layouts, but I have accumulated a large pile of unscrapped photos that I just love...time to start piling them on one page!

Here is a spring layout with pictures of my boys taken on Easter Sunday last year...three photos - yay me!

Supplies Used: Papers (American Crafts, Echo Park, Basic Grey, My Mind's Eye), American Crafts Thickers, K&Co chipboard butterflies, Prima Marketing crystals

First Day

My "baby" boy started pre-K in August. I had dreaded this day for so long, as he had never been to "real" school before and was very attached to me (because I am just that awesome!). :) He did great, and I snapped this picture right as we were leaving for the big day.

Supplies Used: Fancy Pants papers and chipboard, Jenni Bowlin ticket and BINGO card,  American Crafts Thickers, Jillibean Soup twine

Happy New Year {belated}!

Happy {belated} New Year! Things have been so busy around here, I just haven't had a chance to do much scrapping. My Christmas was full of excitement and joy. I hope that yours was, too. Even though I haven't been scrapping, I've been decorating for the holidays, baking like a crazy woman, "baking" a baby, redoing my boys' room, and participating in all of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

I added a lot of lime green to my tree this year. Loved the splashes of lime!

And here are all THREE of my guys at Christmastime. We found out that we are being blessed with another healthy and whole baby boy! Nathan will be here at the end of April. I must catch up on scrapping all of my photos before he makes his entrance into the world.

I've got over 100 pictures ordered, and a box of scrapping goodies on route to my home. I can't wait to use them!
Here's to a fabulous 2012!
