Christmas In July!

Have Yourself a Super Little Christmas

I finally got around to scrapping a Christmas photo. I adore Christmas, but it's just not my favorite thing to scrap.

This was the photo that we used for our Christmas postcard that was sent to family and friends. Samuel was quite upset because he wanted it to say, "Have yourself a super BIG Christmas!" He didn't exactly get the sentiment this year!

I used mainly scraps for this layout. For the title work, I have a set of Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby brand) chipboard letters. I applied a coat of Star Dust Stickle for some sparkle. Let me just say that I have gotten more mileage out of that set of chipboard letters - worth every penny! For the white on black font, I just selected a text box on Word, chose to fill it with black, and then selected a white font. I did this for the title and journaling.

My Joy

These are my boys hamming it up for the camera. I just love the bright and cheerful colors in these Fancy Pants papers - perfect for summertime layouts.
