First things first...I just got notification that one or more of layouts was selected for publication for the Making Memories gallery book. I will find out next week exactly which layout(s) will appear in the book. This will be my first publication, and I am beyond thrilled!
Cherish These Moments
I used Pencil Lines sketch #180 for this layout.
I love this picture, as it captures such a sweet moment of my husband and boys having fun together at the pumpkin patch. These are the moments that I cherish so much! Looks like Kase is having the most fun, too! And don't you just love the Jillibean Soup polka dotted and grid patterned papers?!?
Supplies Used:
Patterned Papers - Jillibean Soup and Basic Grey
Making Memories metal "cherish", Spare Parts arrow
Making Memories alphabet stickers
Happy scrappin', y'all!

She... and Silence Is Not Always Golden
I have two completely different layouts to share today: a very boyish layout and a girly-girl layout. I do like to mix things up a bit.
She...
I enjoy incorporating some of my favorite Scriptures into my layouts, and I have been wanting to use Proverbs 31:25 for quite some time. This picture is of my mother, my two sisters, and of me. It was a challenge to find a picture without one of our boys!
Once again, I used my Martha Stewart doily border punch to create the blue "lace." I just punched long strips of paper, inked the edges, folded them behind the mat, and then taped them behind the mat.
For the butterflies, I used my Paper Studio butterfly punch (I LOVE that punch!), applied a layer of diamond Stickles, and added a Robin's Nest dew drop to each one. I can always find a place for a butterfly. :)
Supplies Used:
Patterned Papers - Prima, Jenni Bowlin, and Basic Grey
Bazzill cardstock, Prima Flowers, Robin's Nest dew drops, Prima chipboard, Making Memories alpha stickers,Colorbox Ink, and Martha Stewart doily punch
Silence Is Not Always Golden
Silence is golden, or is it?!? I hardly ever doodle on my pages, but I thought that this page needed some white accents. I used up some of my scraps from one of my favorite lines of American Crafts papers to complete this.
Supplies Used:
Patterned Papers - American Crafts, Cosmo Cricket, and K&Co
American Crafts Thickers, Spare Parts chipboard letters, miscellaneous buttons, EK Success border punch, Uni-ball Signo pen, My Little Shoebox letter stickers

Hello Spring!
It's not a layout, but it's still something fun and crafty!
I love spring.
I love wreath making.
I love color and lots of it.
Sam and Jack helped me pick out all of the goodies for this wreath. I have them well trained (bribed) to endure LONG trips to Hobby Lobby and other craft stores. :) The yellow butterfly was Sam's special pick.
Here's to hoping that the flowers in my garden catch on soon.
Happy spring!

First Post
I have joined the rest of society and started a blog of my own. I guess that means that I am graduating from a blog stalker to a bona fide member of the blog community. Yay me!
Since the name that I wanted and every variation of it was already taken (*sigh*), I came up with "Pink Bluebonnet" simply because I am the only girl in my house of blue and because I live in the great state of Texas, y'all! Bluebonnets are fixing to pop up all over town and I can hardly wait.
Here is my latest page that I created for a current Pagemaps challenge. The winner receives a Cricut. It's worth checking out. The theme was appreciation, and so I journaled about how much more I appreciate my parents now that I have children of my own.
I created the roses using a 6 petal punch.
For the "lace," I cut out several strips of paper using my Martha Stewart doily punch. I inked the edges and then folded and taped them behind the mat to give it the lace appearance. This technique can be used with virtually any border punch.
Here is another layout where I used the same Martha Stewart punch for the lace. I do like my punches! And for the record, since I created this layout I have been dethroned. I am no longer Sam's girl, as I have been replaced by his new girl: his stinkin' imaginary friend girl. I already don't like her.
Thanks for looking!
